As with our own Virtual Island Summit with the second edition (7th-13th September) ending today, attendees will join the Sustainable Development Movement 2020 Summit virtually. This means that you will be able to watch the speakers from anywhere in the world, without the need to travel. This is especially important in today’s world due to the twin crises of the COVID-19 pandemic which has significantly disrupted international travel, and the even greater long term threat to humanity of global climate change.

With recent significant advances in technology, there is now much less of a need to physically attend events to be able to get the full benefit from them, and in fact, as we have been demonstrating to people and organisations since Island Innovation started, virtual events are in many ways superior to in-person conferences for a number of reasons

If you have never attended a virtual event before and are wondering how this system will work exactly, then here is an excellent video tour of the Sustainable Development Movement Vfairs Virtual Platform, presented by Lisa Taylor-Stone, Head of Development Cooperation and Resource Mobilisation at the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.

For attendees of the Island Innovation Virtual Island Summit 2020 we currently have an amazing offer available to those wishing to attend the OECS Sustainable Development Movement Summit which you can see below:

For those who didn’t attend the Virtual Island Summit 2020, but who still wish to attend the Sustainable Development Movement Summit, you can find all the details about the ticket pricing options, how to register and other details about speakers, scheduling and more on the summit website.

We are very confident that this is going to be an amazing event that you don’t want to miss and we look forward to seeing you there!
