Peter van Aert, a graduate in Economics and Anthropology, holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from VU Amsterdam. Currently pursuing a PhD in Social Sciences and Humanities, his research focuses on applying sustainability to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Peter is a Teaching Faculty member at Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur (South Patagonia) since January 2012 and at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Buenos Aires) since August 2009. His academic journey reflects a commitment to exploring the intersection of economics, anthropology, and social sciences.
