For the past five years, Tara has spearheaded the South Atlantic Hub within the Best Programmes, showcasing her expertise in environmental management and research. Her diverse interests span conservation, biodiversity, waste management, Marine Spatial Planning, ecosystem services, and climate change. Tara boasts extensive experience in steering both small-scale and large-scale international multidisciplinary projects, ranging from on-the-ground implementation initiatives to collaborative partnership platforms. With a knack for establishing new initiatives, she excels in communication, networking, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation. Notably, Tara is dedicated to fostering the development of the next generation of UK Overseas Territories Scientists, actively organising events and programs to support this initiative.
