About Hannah Marczinkowski

Hannah Mareike Marczinkowski was born on the German island Föhr, and worked with various islands during her PhD, including close collaboration with Madeira, Orkney and especially Samsø. The PhD thesis supports the idea that islands have an important role to play in the field of sustainable energy planning. Hannah is facinated by island stories and marine energy and is now looking to implement this idea and support islands to become role models in energy planning.
