About Malysa Kettavong

Malysa Kettavong is Connecticut-born, Puerto Rico-based climate enthusiast. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from Salve Regina University in 2018 and her Master of Public Affairs in from Brown University in 2019. She has previously worked in post-Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico and other island nations through fundraising and solar energy consultation. Malysa is excited to continue her efforts as an ambassador by volunteering and helping organizations in their engagement efforts towards sustainability and resiliency. During her free time, Malysa enjoys reading memoirs, writing prose, and hanging out with her cat, Gucci.
