About Reena Rusidi

I’m Reena and I’m 24 years old. Born and raised in a tropical country like Malaysia, my love for mother nature grows bigger everyday. Having recently graduated from Universiti Malaysia Sabah where I studied Marine Science, I envision to strive in an impact-driven community that protects and preserves the ocean and everything in it. I believe in always giving back to nature, no matter how small your effort is. I spend a lot of my time volunteering for various conservation purposes, be it marine or even terrestrial. Among my passions are photography and writing, where I love using these as a medium to reach people, unearth stories and raise awareness on the plethora of environmental issues we are seeing today. As a thalassophile, I also love diving and spending my time on the beach as often as I could!
