Membership Criteria
Membership is open to academic institutions that facilitate studies centered around topics of particular relevance to islands, including in fields related to environment, conservation, culture, politics and society of island territories worldwide.
Membership priority will be given to institutions, individuals, NGOs and civil society organizations that are physically located on islands and directly engaging island communities
Membership will be renewed annually
