Our current programme is a unique opportunity for young Caribbean environmental advocate and community leaders to learn about Climate Justice, engage with global policymakers, and promote climate action. Selected participants will be fully funded to travel to the UN’s COP29.
Throughout the course, you will be able to acquire the right knowledge, cultivate a network of like-minded peers, and interact to accelerate action, taking your vision and work to the next level. Moreover, the top 5 participants will be able to travel to the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) as part of a fully-funded on-site learning experience in Baku, broadening the reach and impact of your conversations to shape a positive Caribbean future.
Island Innovation is providing a unique, fully-funded opportunity for 8 participants from the Caribbean Climate Justice Leaders Academy to attend COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, where they will serve as envoys for their island communities.
