Since joining Island Innovation, I’ve had the exciting role of project manager for the WavEC- Societal Readiness Assessment of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) Technology
project. I love working here, not only because it’s a fully virtual operation that connects me with talented individuals worldwide, but also because of the innovative and impactful projects we undertake.

With over 14 years of experience in project management, I’ve orchestrated events of all sizes for corporate clients and businesses, crafted strategic proposals in events, marketing, and advertising, and shared my knowledge as a Trainer and Assessor at Jamaica’s leading Skills Training Center, HEART NSTA Trust. My career has been a journey of turning ideas into reality and inspiring others to achieve their best.

I hail from a small, vibrant community in St. Catherine, Jamaica, but now call the lively city of Kingston home. When I’m not diving into project management, you’ll find me interacting with children and planning engaging programs. I’m blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children who keep me inspired and motivated.

Sustainability is close to my heart, especially issues like food security and climate change. To make a tangible impact, I founded the Budding Farmers Grow Club, a program for children that promotes food security, climate resilience, and healthy lifestyles. Through this initiative, I’m nurturing the next generation of eco-conscious leaders.
