This session will feature participants from the Caribbean Climate Justice Leaders Academy (CCJLA) who have been selected to attend COP29. These young climate advocates will discuss their expectations for COP29, share their experiences in the Academy, and present the key projects they are leading to address climate challenges in Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Through their unique perspectives, they will explore how the Caribbean can strengthen its position in global climate negotiations, advocate for justice, and build resilience to the impacts of climate change. The session will also provide insights into how they are preparing to engage at COP29 and what they hope to achieve during the summit.
