As islands and coastal regions strive for energy independence and sustainability, green hydrogen is emerging as a key solution for decarbonization. The interactive webinar “Supporting 10 Islands in the Green Hydrogen Transition” will introduce participants to the Green Hysland Technical Support Programme.

The session will begin with an overview of the Green Hysland project in Mallorca, the first hydrogen valley on a Mediterranean island. Participants will then be guided through the latest Hydrogen Territories Platform (HTP) Tool, designed by the Aragon Hydrogen Fundation (FHa) to support feasibility assessments and project planning. The tool will be followed by practical insights from H2 Chile, a partner of Green Hysland. Its case study will show how island partners are using the tool in their follower territories, and how this could be used by other islands.

The webinar will conclude with practical information about our upcoming mentoring program, unveiling details and providing clarifications into the application procedure.

The webinar is thought to be interactive, with participants invited to ask questions during the discussion moment, offering an opportunity to engage with the program organisers.
