Prince Edward Island:

Air Travel

  • Charlottetown Airport (YYG): The main airport on the island, offering the most convenient access to Prince Edward Island. All registered attendees arriving on May 21st can take advantage of our free shuttle service to their accommodation. We also offer scheduled transfers back to the airport on May 23rd and 24th. 
  • Alternative Airports: Consider airports like Moncton (YQM), Halifax (YHZ), Fredericton (YFC), and Saint John (YSJ) for more flight options. However, be aware that reaching the island requires additional transportation (car, bus, ferry).
    • Approximate distances and travel times:
      • Moncton: 220 km (137 mi) – 3.5 hours (driving)
      • Halifax: 320 km (200 mi) – 5 hours (driving), 6.5 hours (ferry + driving)
      • Fredericton: 270 km (168 mi) – 4.5 hours (driving)
      • Saint John: 310 km (193 mi) – 5 hours (driving), 7 hours (ferry + driving)
    • Transportation options: Research car rentals, bus schedules, and ferry routes beforehand to compare costs and convenience.

Ferry Services

  • Ferries: Connect Prince Edward Island to Nova Scotia. Travel time varies depending on the departure point and route. Consider booking in advance.
  • Confederation Bridge: Links Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick. Tolls apply, check rates in advance.

Transportation

By Bus:

Shuttle transfers will be provided between Charlottetown Airport and the Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort before and after the summit to accommodate incoming and outgoing flights on the designated days.

By Car:

The most convenient way to reach Rodd Crowbush is by car from Charlottetown Airport (YYG). The drive takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Detailed directions and a Google Maps link are provided below:

  • Exit the airport and head east on Brackley Point Road.
  • Turn left onto Trans-Canada Highway/PE-1 E and follow signs for Crowbush Cove.
  • Turn right onto Route 350 and follow signs to Rodd Crowbush Golf Course.

Car Rental:

For those who want to explore the island beyond the summit, renting a car is a great option. Several companies operate in PEI, offering a variety of vehicles to suit different needs.
