About Giovanni Charles

Giovanni Charles is a part-time student pursuing a BSc in Social Work with a minor in Youth Development at the University of the West Indies Global Campus. He also serves as a Community Liaison Officer at the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition. Giovanni is deeply involved in advocacy and community development, notably as a project assistant and creative director for the Caribbean Professional Development Fellowship with the Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Diversity and Equality. He founded the Artistic & Cultural Youth Development Canvas, which uses arts for social advocacy, and is the Regional Caribbean Coordinator for the Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network. Giovanni has participated in various international forums, including the 4th Migration Youth Forum and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Global Forum. Passionate about human rights and climate justice, he seeks to amplify the voices of marginalized communities and drive systemic change through the Caribbean Climate Justice Leaders Academy.

Giovanni Charles is studying for a BSc in Social Work with a minor in Youth Development at the University of the West Indies Global Campus. He holds CPE Certificates in Project Management and Events Management from the same institution. His earlier education includes studies in Sociology, Literature, Digital Media, and Communication Studies at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.
