About Aike Krips
Dutch Bar Registered lawyer with 25 years of experience, with both legal practice in The Netherlands as well as the Dutch Caribbean (mostly Curaçao).
Main areas of focus: financial law, trade & logistics and as specific field of expertise: legal aspects of the structure of the Kingdom of The Netherlands and EU status of the Caribbean Islands within the Kingdom.
Due to the latter Aike Krips has, as per request of Curaçao Ministry of Economic Affairs, advised and lectured various times about legal obstacles for the Caribbean Islands within the Kingdom for the financing for sustainability, amongst others at the COP29 conference in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Aike Krips is partner at the law firm Bunders Lok Advocaten in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and – in light of his Caribbean Practice – of counsel at the law firm Spigt Dutch Caribbean, in Curaçao.
