About Anthony Talouli
Anthony Talouli is the Director for the Waste Management and Pollution Programme at the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) which is the premier intergovernmental agency for the Pacific environment. His role at SPREP involves strategic programme leadership management and planning, programme performance monitoring and reporting, member and donor liaison, as well as project coordination, implementation and management particularly with respect to the management of waste and pollution as part of the Secretariat work as outlined in the SPREP Strategic Plan 2017-2026, under the framework of the Noumea and Waigani Conventions and operationalized in the Integrated Waste and Pollution Management 2016-2025 (Cleaner Pacific 2025). Anthony has an aeronautical engineering and management background from RMIT in Melbourne Australia. He has been at SPREP for the last 15yrs and previous to that, 10yrs in the oil industry with Shell Company.
