About Gary Farstad

Gary is the proud General Manager at the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort with 336 guest rooms. Our resort in Willemstad, Curacao is located only 15 minutes from the Hato International Airport (CUR) and 5 minutes from historic Willemstad. Lounge by one of two sparkling swimming pools: an adults-only pool and a large family pool. Or, enjoy some family time with a kids club and other fun adventures near our resort including ATV tours, buggy tours, catamaran trips, swimming with dolphins, diving, and more.

Being born and growing up in Niagara Falls, Tourism is a part of Gary’s DNA. He has been lucky enough to work in Tourism Mecca’s such as the Cayman Islands, Muskoka Ontario, Fernie BC, Lake Louise AB and a few other locations throughout his career and has a world view that not many other people can bring to the table. Gary has corporate experience working for companies such as Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Marriott Hotels and Atlific Hotels. Gary’s experience has made him an expert in external stakeholder relations, corporate communications and he has done a lot of work with traditional media.
