About Josiah Burkett
Josiah Burkett currently serves as the Senior GIS Officer with the Ministry of Sustainable Development in St. Kitts. A geologist by degree, he is a passionate advocate for climate change resilience, particularly through the use of technology such as GIS and remote sensing to drive sustainable development. Josiah is also a member of the Board of Directors for URISA, now renamed the Geospatial Professional Network, where he contributes to advancing geospatial technology and its applications. He is also the Principal of Prime Solutions, a start up company that provides business solutions that utilizes data to improve business operations and value. With a deep commitment to environmental sustainability, he actively works to implement innovative solutions that address climate change and promote national and regional development.
