About Shanna Emmanuel

Shanna Emmanuel has been involved in Environmental Management for the last 11 years, working first for the Government of Saint Lucia with the Department of Fisheries, as a biologist, and then Sustainable Development within the climate change unit supporting reporting to the UNFCCC, as well as mitigation actions, and climate finance. For the last three years she has worked with the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission within the environmental sustainability division. There is currently supporting the Climate and Disaster Resilience Unit, which coordinates climate change work throughout the member states. She has a passion for using island-solutions to solve island problems, and advocates for Caribbean innovation to be at the forefront of work.
