Islands are frontrunners in innovation. Over the last couple of decades they have shown us over and over again. Climate change, physical boundaries and an island mentality – to name a few – have been accelerators for innovation.
By using creative combinations of indigenous wisdom and new technologies, islands have found amazing solutions to challenges we all face, especially now during the Corona crisis. So what can we learn from this towards the future?
During this talk, James Ellsmoor, Arno Boersma and Bianca Peters, took on a journey to islands and show you examples of innovations and solutions we all can learn from and hopefully apply.
