Access to finance is vital to achieve post-pandemic recovery, and can be be of the biggest challenges for islands. When thinking of sustainable development for islands, the blue (ocean) and green (land) economies are both vital components that need to be considered simultaneously.
The Financing a Blue-Green Recovery for the Caribbean session of the Island Finance Forum 2021, invited key stakeholders from across the region to workshop opportunities to develop ocean investment. This invitation-only session for stakeholders working on Blue Economy and adjacent sectors brought together finance and policymakers aiming to create specific outputs and solutions.
We invite you to watch this session to see what are the recommendations to develop the Blue Economy across all countries and territories in the Caribbean.
