Island Innovation is proud to partner with the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund to organise The Caribbean Conservation Finance Congress 2021.
The first edition of this Congress will focus on building and showcasing Caribbean sustainable financing solutions for conservation and sustainable development, exchanging experiences among Caribbean actors, and learning from other regions and global initiatives.
Establishing long-term and sustainable financing solutions is crucial to successfully implement the nature-based solutions and approaches needed to ensure the availability of natural resources and the services they provide to the people and economies of the Caribbean. While important strides have been made region wide, conservation finance is still a relatively new and evolving field or area of work in the Caribbean.
The Caribbean Conservation Finance Congress 2021 will be held on July 6-8 and this event represents the efforts of the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund and the Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund that teamed up to organize this event that we are developing for them, from website development, social media, marketing, communications, event tech organisation and full tech support, branding and design, and access to a network to build the right relationships, we are honored that the CBF is a continuing partner and client, as we developed the CCI-CBF Week for them on 2020.
