I currently work with Island Innovation as their Graphic Designer. I’m responsible for visual communication, such as layouts, videos and animations for websites and social media. Besides doing what I love, this role allows me to help promote and bring awareness to island and rural communities and their challenges. And I also can learn from my team members different cultures and ways of working together.

I’m from Caruaru, a small countryside city in the state of Pernambuco in the northeast of Brazil. Which is a region that suffers from aggressives drought troughtout the year and has a lot of fragiles communities that need the land to survive. This context made me aware of the necessities of my people and to better understand what could be done to improve places like that. Recently I moved to Goiânia, the capital city of Goiás in the midwest. I came here to look to spread my culture and sustainability awareness to other people.

I have experience at developing attractive visual language for brands to reach their right audience. I also have worked for companies that are on social media and digital places focused on retail sales. And my expertise is creating a flow in advertising. Giving life to layouts to make the storytelling stronger and more attractive is my favorite part of the job. I have a bachelor’s degree in Design and specialized in Graphic and Motion Design and also Illustration.

I believe that people are the most important thing and together we can make everything come true. I am proud of my roots, where everyone breathes cultural movements and regional festivals. And we are known for having the world’s biggest street carnival and June festivities. When I have some free time I like to read books in my hammock, watch drama movies and gather some friends and family to play board games.
